【摘要】:ThispartofIEC60793providesvaluesofthetensilestrengthofopticalfibresamplesandestablishesuniformrequirementsforthemechanicalcharacteristic–tensilestrength.Themethodtestsindividuallengthsofuncabledandunbundledglassopticalfibre.Sectionsoffibrearebrokenwithcontrolledincreasingstressorstrainthatisuniformovertheentirefibrelengthandcrosssection.Thestressorstrainisincreasedatanominallyconstantrateuntilbreakageoccurs.Thedistributionofthetensilestrengthvaluesofagivenfibrestronglydependsonthesamplelength,loadingvelocityandenvironmentalconditions.Thetestcanbeusedforinspectionwherestatisticaldataonfibrestrengthisrequired.Resultsarereportedbymeansofstatisticalqualitycontroldistribution.Normallythetestiscarriedoutaftertemperatureandhumidityconditioningofthesample.However,insomecases,itmaybesufficienttomeasurethevaluesatambienttemperatureandhumidityconditionsThismethodisapplicabletotypesA1,A2,A3,BandCopticalfibres.
