【摘要】:Thisstandardpracticeestablishesamethodforconductingacceleratedlaboratoryagingofradialpassengerorlighttrucktires,orboth,inanoven.Thegoalofthispracticeistodefineascientificallyvalidprotocolfortheacceleratedlaboratoryagingofatiresuchthatcertainofitsmaterialpropertiescorrelatetothoseofin-servicetires(seeAppendixX1).Thispracticedoesnotestablishperformancelimitsortolerancesfortirespecifications.1.1Thispracticedescribesamethodtolaboratoryageanewtireinanoventoproducechangesincertainchemicalandphysicalpropertiesatthebeltedgessimilartothoseoftiresin-service(seeAppendixX1).1.2ThispracticeisaprecursortoconductinganASTMstandardroadwheeltestmethodforlaboratorygenerationofbeltseparationinradialpassengercarandlighttrucktires.1.3Thispracticemaynotproducerepresentativechemicalandphysicalpropertychangesinanypartofthetireexceptthebeltedge.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecificprecautionarystatements,seeSection8.
