【摘要】:ThispartofEN843specifiesmethodsfordeterminingthenominalflexuralstrengthofadvancedmonolithictechnicalceramicmaterialsatambienttemperature.Theavailableloadinggeometriesarethree-andfour-pointflexure,usingrectangularsectiontestpiecesoftwoprescribedgeometries:20mmsupportspan(A)and40mmsupportspan(B).NOTEThispartofEN843differsfromISO14704(seeBibliography)inrespectofspanA(notincludedintheISOversion),theabsenceofthe30mmspanoption,andtherequireduseofafullyarticulatingtestjig.Thetestappliestomaterialswithgrainsizelessthan200urn.Thetestprescribesfourcategoriesofsurfacefinishappliedtothetestpieces:I:as-firedorannealedaftermachining;II:standardfinishingbyghnding;III:standardfinishingbylapping/polishing;IV:machinedusingagreedgrindingproceduresandmaterialremovalrates.
