【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardgivesgeneralguidelinesforthedetectionandidentificationofthespecifiedmicro-organismPseudomonasaeruginosaincosmeticproducts.Micro-organismsconsideredasspecifiedinthisInternationalStandardmightdifferfromcountrytocountryaccordingtonationalpracticesorregulations.Inordertoensureproductqualityandsafetyforconsumers,itisadvisabletoperformanappropriatemicrobiologicalriskanalysistodeterminethetypesofcosmeticproducttowhichthisInternationalStandardisapplicable.Productsconsideredtopresentalowmicrobiologicalriskincludethosewithlowwateractivity,hydro-alcoholicproducts,extremepHvalues,etc.ThemethoddescribedinthisInternationalStandardisbasedonthedetectionofPseudomonasaeruginosainanon-selectiveliquidmedium(enrichmentbroth),followedbyisolationonaselectiveagarmedium.Othermethodsmaybeappropriate,dependingonthelevelofdetectionrequired.NOTEForthedetectionofPseudomonasaeruginoaa,subculturescanbeperformedonnon-selectiveculturemediafollowedbysuitableidentificationsteps(e.g.usingidentificationkits).Becauseofthelargevarietyofcosmeticproductswithinthisfieldofapplication,thismethodmaynetbeappropriateineverydetailforsomeproducts(e.g.certainwaterimmiscibleproducts).OtherInternationalStandards(ISO18415[10])maybeappropriate.Othermethods(e.g.automated)maybesubstitutedforthetestspresentedhereprovidedthattheirequivalencehasbeendemonstratedorthemethodhasbeenotherwisevalidated.
