【摘要】:Thisrecommendedpracticeoutlinestestproceduresforcomparingtwoormoreunsealedorsealedinsulationsystemsinaccordancewiththeirexpectedlifeatratedtemperature.TheprocedureislimitedtoinsulationsystemsforACelectricalmachinesusingform-woundpre-insulatedstatorcoilsrated15000Vandbelow.Theintentofthistestprocedureistoevaluateunsealedinsulationsystemsforusewithaircoolingunderusual(normal)serviceconditions,orsealedinsulationsystemsforuseundersevereenvironmentalconditions(wheretheinsulationisexposedtoconductingcontaminants).Thisproceduredoesnotcoverspecialrequirements,suchasthoseformachinesenclosedingasatmospheresormachinessubjectedtostrongchemicals,metaldustorsubmersioninliquid,etc.Theprocedureincludesinstructionsfortestingcandidatesystemsincomparisonwithknownreferencesystems,ofthesametype,havingaprovenrecordofserviceexperienceandinterpretingtheresultsofthesetests.
